Job Overview

Blithequark is seeking an experienced remote data entry specialist to join our team. As a data entry specialist, you will be responsible for collecting, digitizing, and managing data, maintaining accuracy and efficiency, and ensuring that our data storage systems are complete and up-to-date. Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and digitize data such as invoices, canceled bills, client information, and financial statements, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain a detailed and organized storage system to ensure data entries are complete and accurate, and continually update filing systems to improve data quality.
  • Keep a record of hard copy data such as invoices, inventory checklists, and other financial documents, and address data inconsistencies by working with administrative staff to locate missing data.
  • Establish data entry standards and adhere to best data management practices, maintaining a high standard of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Attend to data queries and report any major data errors to management, ensuring that issues are resolved promptly and effectively.
  • Perform high-volume data entry work, including data entry of new applications, credits, and other financial documents, and operate data entry devices to perform a variety of keypunching, data entry, and verification duties.
  • Review and verify data prior to entry, ensuring that all data is accurate and complete, and perform daily audits and data entry corrections as needed.
  • Provide entry-level administrative support to the data entry function, including preparing information for data entry, performing entry-level support for the data entry function, and maintaining data entry requirements by following data program techniques.
  • Train new data entry employees on computer systems and ensure timely data entry and file management, and perform routine clerical and data entry functions as needed.

Essential Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience working as a data entry specialist, with excellent knowledge of data entry software, such as Ninox, Kintone, and Om Prompt Order Management.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software, and excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve data inconsistencies and errors.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with excellent time management and self-motivation skills.
  • Knowledge of EMR systems and experience performing data entry in EMR, with excellent understanding of data management practices and principles.
  • Certification in data entry or a related field, such as Certified Data Entry Specialist (CDES), with ongoing education and training in data entry and management.
  • Experience working with dealers or clients to ensure data entry is accurate and complete, with excellent customer service skills and ability to build strong relationships.
