About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Property Coordinator/Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a temporary basis, not exceeding 12 weeks. In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing, compiling, and sorting documents for data entry, checking source documents for accuracy, verifying and correcting data, and transcribing information into required electronic formats. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will ensure that completed work is accurate, and you'll respond to requests for information, accessing relevant files as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, compile, and sort documents for data entry, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Check source documents for accuracy, verifying and correcting data where necessary.
  • Transcribe information into required electronic formats, maintaining data integrity.
  • Check completed work for accuracy, ensuring that all data entry tasks are performed correctly.
  • Respond to requests for information, accessing relevant files and providing support as needed.
  • Enter data from source documents into prescribed computer databases, files, and forms, maintaining up-to-date records.
  • Perform other duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Two (2) years of courses in a designated field or trade school, and three (3) years of related experience, or any equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Basic knowledge of proper office procedures, including data entry, record-keeping, and file management.
  • Ability to follow instructions, plans, and blueprints, with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, including data entry, formatting, and basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to apply basic mathematical skills, including calculations and data analysis.
  • Plan and work selecting proper tools, comparing and understanding differences in size, shape, and form of lines, figures, and objects.
  • Ability to follow written and oral directions, recognizing and reporting safety hazards, and understanding inventory processes.
  • Ability to work in both an office and warehouse environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two (2) years of college courses in a related field, plus four (4) years of related experience, or any equivalent combination of relevant education and experience for a total of six (6) years.
  • Familiarity with MAXIMO, including data entry, reporting, and asset management.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Understanding of government property processes and record-keeping, including regulations and compliance.
  • Receiving and inspection experience, including inventory management and quality control.
