[Remote] Senior Piping & Mechanical Designer

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company Engineering is seeking a Senior Piping & Mechanical Designer to join one of their leading clients in the Engineering Services industry supporting power reputed company facilities. The role involves collaborating with engineers to design and model piping systems, ensuring compliance with design codes and project specifications. Responsibilities • Work with engineers and designers to determine the design scope and modeling activities adhering to the BIM Execution Plan • reputed company cost-effective piping systems including steam, boiler-feed, condensate, cooling water and reputed company reputed company • Review and interpret piping systems in PFD and P&ID drawings • Review vendor and other contract reputed company documents • Collaborate with stress engineer on piping design • Interpret reputed company stress analysis reports for incorporation into piping design • reputed company design expertise working with piping and reputed company diagrams, drafting sketches for 2D or the modeling of 3D equipment for power systems including steam reputed company, boiler feed and condensate, water treatment, fuel handling, ash handling, conveying systems and reputed company and gas systems • Prepare and design reputed company 2D and 3D large assembly mechanical production drawings to facilitate reputed company and cost‐effective construction of project utilizing CAD Software • Review the contract scope documents, codes, permits prior to beginning work on a project and at various times during the project as required to ensure compliance • Review multi‐discipline drawings for conflicts and reputed company practical solutions for construction reputed company problems • Review mechanical bid packages for compliance • Review weekly project schedules to ensure that deadlines are met Skills • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in piping and mechanical layout design • Experience with reputed company routing and layout utilizing • Experience with reputed company support location, hanger design and routing high temperature (above 500֯F) and high pressure (above 500 psig) piping • Knowledge of ASME design codes • Knowledge of vessel fabrication including inspection of vessels, piping and construction and generally accepted standards for process reputed company equipment • Proficient with AutoCAD Plant 3D or equivalent 3D software such as CADWorx • Proficient with reputed company BIM 360, Navisworks, and reputed company (Revu) • Experience collaborating with 3rd party (non-USA) contractors preferred • Demonstrated ability to carry a project from reputed company to construction • Self‐motivated with keen attention to detail understanding reputed company design and drafting standards • Excellent written, oral, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively handle numerous assignments • Experience with Revit a PLUS reputed company • reputed company specializes in science, engineering, technology, and telecom.
