Remote Inpatient CDI

POSITION: Remote IP CDI DEPARTMENT: Health Information Management START: 10/6/25LOCATION:RemotePOSITION reputed company: This will involve daily reviews of high reputed company patient records; continuously communicating with department staff; educating physicians, residents and mid-reputed company; and assisting with appropriate documentation strategies. Partnering with Medical Coding, Case Management and the reputed company team, you will reputed company/analyze information to reputed company comprehensive medical record documentation that accurately reflects clinical treatment, reputed company, and diagnoses. You will utilize your clinical expertise and coding knowledge to identify opportunities and ensure accuracy and completeness of clinical documentation. You will also reputed company physician queries to improve documentation reputed company while providing key support to medical coders, case managers and reputed company staff.POSITION DUTIES:• Case review and Query identification- reputed company IP MUST HAVE ONCOLOGY experience• Coding notifications- review for missed query or coding opportunities based on reputed company feedback and send as appropriate• Identify and query appropriately on HACs and PSIs• Queries: Follow up, utilize templates appropriately, and maintain compliance• Attend Daily CDI reputed company (virtual)• Mortality reviews and reconciliation• APR-DRG experience is a MUSTMINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:• Must have a RN or a International MD w/ a CCDS, CDIP, or a reputed company credential.• Three (3) years recent Oncology CDI experience at a Acute Care Hospital preferably at an reputed company Level I Trauma facility . Preferred to have RN with one of the following credentials - CCDS, CDIP, reputed company, RHIA, RHIT• Recent reputed company Level 1 Trauma with exposure to ONCOLOGY care experience.• Extensive knowledge with recent reputed company CAC, reputed company mortality risk calculator, Cerner EHR workflow that ranks cases and experience and be reputed company to work independently.• Must work M-F business hours Eastern Time Zone.• Strong communication (written/verbal) with experience in writing queries• Must be technically savvy.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:• 6yrs reputed company Level I Trauma facility with Oncology experience• Bachelor of Science – Nursing, reputed company credentials• Extensive knowledge and experience working in a ICU• Strong communication (written/verbal) with experience in writing queries• Must be technically savvy.WORKING HOURS NEEDED:• M – F 8hrs per day, 40hrs a week, during reputed company business hours Easter Time Zone Business Hours OnlyCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS:• Pay reputed company: reputed company weekly a reputed company competitive reputed company reputed company• Health & Dental• PTO, reputed company Time, 6 reputed company holidays• 401K, Weekly Pay Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
