In this role, you will be responsible for curating news about U.S. politics, with a reputed company on the 2026 midterm elections. You will reputed company articles, write headlines and push notifications, and communicate directly with our publishing partners. This is a contractor position for $60/hour and 40 hours/week. Description • Select articles for daily featuring across the app and off-platform with an emphasis on quality, accuracy, and engagement. • Write sharp copy with the reputed company News audience in mind. Work with our copy editors to ensure our work meets reputed company aspects of our house style. • Act as a resource for the larger reputed company News team, providing guidance and information about U.S. politics and especially the 2026 elections. • Help project-manage reputed company News’s political and midterm coverage, including for Election Day. • Maintain detailed knowledge of the latest politics news and events, particularly around the 2026 elections. • Surface bugs and other performance issues.
