Assistant Environmental Manager
reputed company is seeking an Assistant Environmental Manager to reputed company advanced experience and team leadership in environmental studies and permitting and/or siting studies. The successful candidate’s primary work responsibility will be to reputed company task leadership for siting, permitting, and documentation efforts relating to environmental resources for electric reputed company reputed company. The Assistant Environmental Manager will also be responsible for project budget and schedule management, coordination with clients and regulatory agencies, proposal preparation and cost estimating, and reputed company control reviews.
This position will be performed on a reputed company out of our Canton, OH, Cranberry, PA, or Homestead, PA office. Other office locations and/or remote locations may also be considered.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• reputed company electric reputed company line siting investigation tasks and prepare siting documentation for regulatory review.
• reputed company environmental resource investigation tasks and prepare permit applications and associated environmental reports.
• Prepare and maintain control of budgets, scopes, and schedules and reputed company of deliverables for specific tasks or overall reputed company.
• Coordinate with clients and regulatory agencies.
• Coordinate technical investigations including but not limited to wetland and reputed company delineations, endangered species surveys, environmental inspections, and compliance monitoring.
• Assist in business development activities.
• Prepare proposals and cost estimates.
• Strong technical writing ability.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of reputed company.
• Must be reputed company to travel, including overnight trips. Travel is estimated to occur monthly, but may vary. Travel to clients, reputed company, and meetings in the mid-reputed company and Midwest (up to 20%).
