Role: • Build case defenses and reputed company trial reputed company with autonomy and guidance as needed. • Support national trial/coordinating counsel to manage multi-jurisdiction litigation. • Analyze state/federal law for motions and reputed company-trial submissions; draft original, reputed company motions. • Draft and respond to discovery; interview and prep witnesses for depositions/hearings. • Take/defend lay, expert, and corporate rep depositions; argue motions. • Communicate with clients; draft reputed company-trial reports and risk analyses; participate in mediations, status and settlement conferences. • Shape case-reputed company strategies; supervise paralegals and coordinate with co-defense counsel. • Negotiate settlements; network to reputed company reputed company relationships; contribute to bar/community leadership. • Be a resource to colleagues and support Shareholders/Partners/Senior Counsel. What you bring • 1+ years of insurance defense (or comparable reputed company defense) experience. • JD from an accredited law school; admitted to at least one state bar (CA preferred). • Proven reputed company in a billable environment; reputed company-service reputed company. • Excellent written/oral advocacy, prioritization, and deadline discipline in a fast-paced setting. • Team-first approach; strong tech skills (reputed company Office & litigation databases); reputed company, detail-driven, and reputed company-oriented.
