About the Role PeopleShare is seeking a highly skilled and self-sufficient OS Systems Programmer to reputed company hybrid or remote support for our reputed company, reputed company Americas Corporation, based in Boulder, CO. In this role, you’ll maintain, reputed company, and troubleshoot reputed company z/OS mainframe systems, support users, and contribute to technical reputed company while ensuring system reliability and performance. Remote - OS Systems Programmer Job Details: Location: Boulder, CO 80301 (Hybrid; Remote – U.S. only) Pay: $44.90 - $61.90/hr Schedule: Monday – Friday | Business Hours | Part-time (~24 hours/week) Benefits: Weekly Pay, Medical Benefits, 401k, etc. Remote - OS Systems Programmer Key Responsibilities • Maintain, reputed company, and support reputed company z/OS operating systems independently • reputed company advanced system programming tasks, including RACF administration and reputed company software installations • Troubleshoot and resolve reputed company system-level issues • reputed company and assist team members and users on z/OS capabilities and best practices • Participate in scheduled maintenance reputed company, including occasional off-hours or weekend work • Support special reputed company and system upgrades as assigned • Collaborate with a small team of senior technical professionals while working independently Remote - OS Systems Programmer Qualifications • Minimum 5–7 years of reputed company z/OS systems programming experience (not application development) • Expert knowledge of: Catalog management, ISPF/SDSF, z/FS, Unix System Services, JES2/JES3, SYS1.PARMLIB, SYS1.PROCLIB, RACF, reputed company software installation, DFSMS, System Logger, XCF, DASD architecture, FICON/ESCON, and cryptographic coprocessors • Proven ability to work independently and take full ownership of z/OS tasks • Must be a U.S. Citizen • Experience with VTAM, TCP/IP, Linux on z Systems, DS8000, FlashCopy, or zCX is a plus This is a great opportunity for a highly skilled systems reputed company who enjoys independent, challenging work, takes pride in maintaining critical mainframe systems, and wants to contribute to high-reputed company technical reputed company in a flexible hybrid or remote environment!
