<strong>Job Description<br><br></strong><strong>Job Summary Details:<br><br></strong>The Airline Passenger Assistant, also known as the Wheelchair Agent, fulfills airline passenger service obligations for passengers who require or request wheelchair assistance. Passenger services positions are very customer service-oriented and “tipping” is allowed and customary. For information about ABM’s benefits, visit ABM Employee Benefits | Front Line Team Members | (Programa de Beneficios de ABM)<br><br><strong>Basic Qualifications:<br><br><br></strong><ul><li> Must be 18 years of age or older</li><li> No high school diploma, GED or college degree required</li><li> No experience required and on the job training provided<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Qualification:<br><br><br></strong><ul><li> One (1) year of customer service experience preferred<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Responsibilities:<br><br><br></strong><ul><li> Follow safety precautions at all times while transporting passengers</li><li> Positive interpersonal interaction with passengers</li><li> Comply with all client and/or site security requirements and processes</li><li> Safely transport passengers in wheelchairs from their retrieval point to their desired destination within the client site or grounds</li><li> Assist passengers with baggage retrieval and transport, if necessary</li><li> Coordinate assignments with dispatchers and gate Agents, if necessary</li><li> Complete thorough Incident Reports<br><br><br></li></ul>A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
