Job Overview

In this role, you will have the opportunity to "wow" our pet-parent clients and colleagues with exceptional customer service, ensuring seamless interactions and resolving issues promptly. As an Onsite Customer Service and Data Entry Representative, you will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls, resolving client issues, and explaining order requests to veterinary facilities. Your attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to multitask will be essential in this fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Connect directly with veterinary facilities to arrange prescription endorsements, resolve client issues, and clarify order requests.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot to determine suitable solutions for clients and center partners, and follow up as needed to resolve issues.
  • Complete data entry of medications into blithequark's healthcare software, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain a high level of quality through data entry and order processing of veterinary pharmacy orders.
  • Work with empathy, undivided attention, patience, compassion, and kindness to clients and partners alike.
  • Communicate with veterinary facilities via phone (and occasionally other channels as needed) on various subjects, primarily using our internal program and systems to navigate solutions and record center note accounts.
  • Expect a significant portion of the typical business day to be spent on outbound veterinary facility/client phone contacts.

Essential Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills (written, verbal, and listening).
  • Ability to multitask (e.g., chat on the phone while navigating on the computer and taking notes).
  • Work with ownership, be a self-starter, and demonstrate attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain a Pharmacy Technician License from the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy where applicable.
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt to change according to the business needs of the organization.
  • Flexibility to adjust schedule and work overtime as needed by the specialty unit.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information.
  • Ability to pass a background investigation.

Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Previous experience in customer service, data entry, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with veterinary pharmacy operations and procedures.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical concepts.
