As a data scientist at blithequark, you will be responsible for conceiving and developing innovative solutions for our business, analyzing and testing groundbreaking ideas, promoting successes, and driving consistency. You will work closely with scientists, software engineers, and business leaders to define business processes and provide insightful support. **Key Responsibilities** * Collaborate with scientists, software engineers, and business leaders to define business processes and provide insightful support * Influence code to investigate complex datasets and configure, create, and assess data transformations to address specific business issues * Construct adaptable, effective, and automated data pipelines to support client-facing reporting * Automate TA cycles to streamline business activities * Communicate verbally or in writing to business clients/leaders to share insights and recommendations **Essential Capabilities** * Four-year degree in a quantitative field, such as statistics, mathematics, data science, business analysis, finance, economics, engineering, or computer science * 3+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL), pre-processing languages (e.g., Python), or statistical/numerical programming (e.g., R, SAS, Matlab, etc.) * 3+ years of experience with AI/factual modeling data analysis tools and techniques, and boundaries that influence their performance * Experience applying theoretical models in an applied context **Favored Capabilities** * Graduate degree in a quantitative field, such as statistics, mathematics, data science, business analysis, finance, economics, engineering, or computer science * Experience in a ML or data scientist role with a large technology organization **Skills and Competencies** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and collaboration skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks * Experience with cloud-based technologies and web development frameworks * Strong understanding of data modeling and machine learning concepts * Experience with data visualization tools and techniques **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** As a data scientist at blithequark, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects and contribute to the development of our data science capabilities.
