Job Summary

The Customer Service Representative role is a critical part of our team, interacting directly with patients to influence generic utilization, therapy changes, answer questions, solve problems, provide education, and maintain our reputation for high-quality service. As a self-directed and independent performer, you will work closely with our Specialty Projects Team to conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate the benefits of generics or other appropriate therapy to patients, with a goal of providing overall savings to patients and clients
  • Conduct adherence outreach efforts to ensure patients stay on their medications and remain adherent and compliant to their therapies
  • Effectively handle incoming and outgoing phone calls to patients, clients, and other customers, proactively gaining patient and order information
  • Provide customer education, routine assessment, and problem identification, escalating issues to a pharmacist as needed
  • Work closely with the patient to resolve questions and concerns on the first call, ensuring excellent customer service with empathy

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1+ years of customer service experience handling and resolving customer needs over the phone
  • 6+ months of high-volume customer service experience working in Windows, Microsoft, or another similar application
  • Verifiable High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • Must reside in the state of Nevada

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a healthcare or pharmacy setting
  • Knowledge of insurance, health care, and reimbursement-related requirements for dispensing and processing new referrals
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
