Job Overview

In this critical role, you will be responsible for delivering the highest level of customer service experience to our valued customers. Your primary objective will be to provide timely, accurate, and helpful support to customers via phone, online chat, and other communication channels. You will be the face of blithequark, and your exceptional communication skills, patience, and problem-solving abilities will be essential in resolving customer inquiries, addressing concerns, and promoting our products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service experience, ensuring that all customer interactions are handled with professionalism, empathy, and a customer-centric approach
  • Answer customer calls, respond to online chat inquiries, and engage with customers via other communication channels to provide support and resolve issues
  • Reset passwords, assist with creating accounts, and upload documents as required
  • Provide accurate and helpful information to customers, answering general questions and addressing concerns in a timely and efficient manner
  • Help customers manage their accounts, verify eligibility for coverages, and review healthcare options as needed
  • Utilize your excellent communication skills to de-escalate conflicts, resolve issues, and promote blithequark's products and services
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer complaints and concerns, ensuring that all issues are addressed promptly and efficiently

Essential Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential skills and qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in customer service, call center, or retail/food service environment; experience in a high-level customer-facing role preferred
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software applications quickly
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection (35mbps download speed or better) and a dedicated workspace for remote work
  • Ability to provide your own computer/laptop with working camera for the first 3 weeks of training
  • Score of at least 70 on Internet Basics Assessment and ability to troubleshoot issues with equipment while working from home (Internet Familiarization Assessment required)
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, and ability to commit to a minimum of 3 weeks of training without any requested time off

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a call center or customer service environment, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with ability to self-motivate and work independently
  • Strong knowledge of customer service principles, practices, and techniques, with ability to apply this knowledge in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in multiple software applications, including CRM systems and helpdesk software
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills an asset, with ability to communicate effectively with customers in multiple languages
