Job Overview

We are seeking an outstanding Quality Assurance Engineer with expertise in virtual testing and simulation to develop virtual platforms for testing and verifying solutions through simulations and emulations. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product teams, QA manual testing and requirements teams, and internal customers, to ensure that new solutions meet their requirements and are ready for operation, maintenance, deployment, and support.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and execute virtual system test plans (simulations) to validate system-level requirements and ensure integrated system performance across all sub-components.
• Virtually validate end-to-end solutions using real-life software to ensure products meet required specifications for quality, function, operation, reliability, maintenance, training, and learning.
• Identify and set appropriate quality standards and parameters for products, communicating these to the product team, including hardware, software, controls, and materials development teams.
• Coordinate simulations and testing processes, analyzing issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, and recommending solutions to these issues.
• Connect with internal customers, reviewing client, customer, and user feedback to ensure that our solutions meet their needs and expectations.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree (BS) in a relevant field, such as engineering, computer science, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of proven experience working with large cross-functional engineering teams, with expertise in modeling, simulation, testing, integration, and/or quality assurance.
• Proven experience in fulfillment systems, including storage equipment, material handling systems, automated sortation systems, and related automation equipment.
• Excellent time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions.
• Ability to travel up to 70% to business locations and project sites, as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and systems, including robotics and high-speed manufacturing.
