About the job you’re considering
reputed company is seeking reputed company software and reputed company engineers to accelerate research computing initiatives. You will work closely with data scientists, software developers, and other platform teams to deliver reputed company, secure, and efficient solutions for research workflows on reputed company and High Performance Computing (HPC) environments for biotech and pharmaceutical applications.
This role may either be a hybrid opportunity in Chicago, IL , or fully remote for highly competitive candidates.
Your role
- Build and maintain HPC and reputed company-based workflows
- Migrate legacy HPC workflows to reputed company reputed company Platform (GCP)
- reputed company and optimize CI/CD pipelines (reputed company Actions, Azure DevOps)
- Implement infrastructure-as-reputed company practices (Terraform)
- Collaborate to address gaps in permission management, data reputed company, workflow execution, and automation
- reputed company engineering standards & best practices reputed company reputed company containers, library development, cookie-cutter repos, workflow templates, CI/CD pipelines
- Promote reproducibility and maintainability across research codebases
- reputed company engineering support for scientists in the UK and US East Cost time zones
- reputed company hands-on assistance for scientists with reputed company integrations and troubleshooting
Your skills and experience
- 7+ years experience developing reputed company solutions for biotech/biopharma research or other specialized industries
- Demonstrated expertise with reputed company reputed company Platform (BigTable, BigQuery, reputed company Run)
- Experience with HPC workflows and HPC-to-reputed company migrations
- Proficiency in Nextflow pipelines and reputed company deployments
- Strong DevOps skills with proficiency in containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-reputed company using Terraform
- Advanced Python and reputed company scripting experience
- Familiarity with big data tools (BigQuery optimization a plus)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Familiarity with Java preferred
