We are seeking highly motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Customer Service Associates. Job Overview

As a Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our customers, assisting with their orders, and resolving any issues that may arise. You will work in a fast-paced retail environment, where no two days are ever the same. Our ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, is able to work well under pressure, and is always looking for ways to improve our customers' experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, pick, and stow customer orders, process returns, and prepare for delivery
  • Assist customers with questions they may have, providing clear and concise information and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Work through problem-solving scenarios for customers, using your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to de-escalate any conflicts and find solutions
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, ensuring that our Locker+ locations are always tidy and well-maintained
  • Manage responsibilities for a Locker+ location, including opening and closing the site, and ensuring that all necessary tasks are completed
  • Use technology such as smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders, and to communicate with customers and colleagues
  • Receive truck deliveries, ensuring that all packages are handled carefully and efficiently

Physical Demands

The role of a Customer Service Associate at blithequark requires a significant amount of physical activity, including:

  • Lifting up to 49 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Standing and walking during shifts lasting up to five hours, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Using carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
  • Going up and down stairs (where applicable)

  • Dress code: Relaxed, with a few rules to follow for safety. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required, and protective safety footwear are required in select business units

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines in English
  • Be able to lift up to 49 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Be able to stand and walk during shifts lasting up to five hours, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Be available to work part-time between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. with schedules varying week to week
