**Experienced Full Stack Data Analyst – Financial Planning Systems (Part Time/Remote) at blithequark**
Support and Development of Financial Systems Applications
As a Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting and developing Financial Systems applications, as they apply to the Finance association, as well as serving as an internal advisor to those groups to identify automation opportunities and create/give suitable solutions.
Key Tasks:
- Upholds the Hyperion planning application, consistently, for forecast and actual financials
- Approves the data from Hyperion Financial Management and from regulators
- Explores and resolves issues with data, including divisional roll-ups and intercompany transactions
- Upholds system maintenance; maintains client permissions
- Upholds clients with system issues, existing reports, forms, and models
- Helps with preparation of detailed scenarios and analytical results examinations on various complex financial issues and competitive industry analyses
- Facilitates and completes monthly headcount process regarding Hyperion
- Updates Hyperion Planning with order changes; coordinates progressive system changes with Regulators and GL organization
- Talks with work groups to determine reporting business needs; proposes and presents effective solutions
- Makes Essbase cubes, Planning Applications, Reports, as well as estimating and planning models for Finance divisions
Minimum Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Data Systems, or a related field
- 2 years of work experience in a Finance role, including experience with financial summaries, as well as financial modeling and analysis
- A solid IT foundation, including experience with Oracle and complex and social database structures
Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:
- Experience using Hyperion, as well as development and implementation experience (including Intelligent Disclosure, Essbase, Planning)
- Skills, Licenses, and Certifications:
- Ability to adapt and be flexible in the use of analytical methodologies relating to financial issues
- Ability to extract, manipulate, and analyze data
- Meticulous with a focus on precision and ability to prioritize tasks
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and so on
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent collaboration skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively in diverse situations
