As a member of our Transportation Analytics team, you'll be part of a dynamic and collaborative crew that's dedicated to extracting insights from vast amounts of data and using them to inform business decisions. **Job Responsibilities** As an Experienced Full Stack Data Analyst at blithequark, you'll be responsible for: * Working with large, messy, disparate datasets to perform ad-hoc analyses and inform essential business decisions * Creating ETLs (Extract, Transform, Load) or strategies that pull data from multiple sources and centralize it in a single table * Developing data visualizations to display and quantify the impact of changes and specific business challenges * Engaging with team members and cross-functional groups on a periodic basis to establish credibility and analyze stakeholder needs * Partnering with Operations, Finance, and Product groups to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and latency across multiple operations and systems * Leveraging scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate tasks for reporting (screenshots, metrics prioritization, and outlier recognition) * Documenting your approaches and sharing your expertise with colleagues, as well as mentoring them as you become a Subject Matter Expert **Essential Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * Excellent SQL skills, with the ability to govern data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity (2-4 years of experience) * Creativity with a User Experience (UX) basis to develop impactful Tableau dashboards (1-2 years of experience) * Business Operations Fluency, with the ability to recognize and root out business problems (Supply Chain background, ideally with transportation experience) * Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, advanced experience with SQL and Tableau, as well as experience with e-commerce operations or parcel service operations, would be a significant asset.
