Key Responsibilities

As a Principal Communications Associate, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Communications Creation: You'll develop and implement strategic communications plans that utilize a variety of channels to engage agents and leaders, meet stakeholder needs, and drive results on large, complex initiatives and short-term, urgent issues.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: You'll act as a subject matter expert for communications initiatives, working with various partners to understand performance support needs and making recommendations for support.
  • Strategic Insights: You'll monitor key performance indicators to develop actionable insights, best practices, and campaign strategies.
  • Storytelling: You'll utilize your expertise in storytelling to tell a comprehensive and compelling story through verbal and written communication.
  • Experience Design: You'll partner to develop the tools and processes that will best meet our agents' and business's needs.
  • Process: You'll contribute to the processes established to develop agent messaging and deliver communication materials.
  • Measurement: You'll monitor, track, and report on content performance, analyzing content and campaigns to translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for improvements.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
  • At least 3 years of experience in communications, marketing, or technical writing
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
  • Strong technical and creative writing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to build relationships with various stakeholders and partners
  • Ability to gather quantitative and qualitative insights/data to inform recommendations and strategy
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to adapt and flex to changing priorities
  • Ability to learn quickly and translate complex concepts and materials to meet audience needs

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred candidates will have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent military experience
  • At least 4 years of experience in communications, marketing, or technical writing

Work from Home Technology Requirements

To work from home effectively, you'll need:

  • A secure home office environment that is free from background noise and distractions
  • A reliable private internet connection that is not supplied via cellular data or hotspot
  • A private network that is password protected, where you have ownership or line of sight to every device on the network
  • Internet service provided by Cable or Fiber Internet Service Providers (ISP)
  • ISP download speeds on VPN must be at least 5Mbps, with 10+ Mbps preferred

Work from Home Location Requirements

This role is 100% work from home, and we're unable to consider applicants who do not meet the required blithequark Work at Home compatible internet access or who live in certain states or US territories.
