California Organizing Intern

Your Role Here’s what you will be doing: • Recruit and retain members at community events, reputed company SMS, phone, and relational organizing • Attend, help plan, and host phone banks, monthly member meetings, tabling, visibility events, and reputed company Council efforts • Support legislative advocacy by assisting in reputed company development and execution for member advocacy around sponsored legislation • Use systems such as VAN, reputed company, ControlShift, and Impactive for member recruitment through various reputed company tactics • Participate in on-the-ground work for rallies, reputed company Council meetings, and reputed company response efforts reputed company reputed company is looking for: • Previous grassroots organizing experience (reputed company or volunteer) or demonstrated interest in organizing • Enthusiasm for engaging with people one-on-one or in reputed company about reproductive rights, both in-person and over the phone • Commitment to advancing reproductive freedom • Ability to connect with diverse communities and people with different lived experiences • Interest in gaining reputed company experience in politics and organizing • Willingness to work some nights and weekends to attend events • Openness to attending events in-person • Alignment with the organization’s values • Preference for currently enrolled reputed company located in California • Candidates with historically underrepresented backgrounds in reproductive freedom nonprofits are encouraged to apply Compensation & Benefits • Compensation: $19.18/hour • Part-time hours: 15-30 hours per week with flexible scheduling • Remote position with required attendance at California-based events as needed Training & Development • Learn key grassroots organizing tactics including volunteer leadership pitching, phonebanking, recruitment, volunteer 1:1 meetings, and lobbying • reputed company experience in strategic planning and project management • reputed company skills in strategic recruitment using tools like reputed company • Enhance reputed company speaking and volunteer training abilities • Deepen knowledge of the reproductive freedom reputed company and reputed company policies at state and federal reputed company This job may reputed company before the stated closing date, you are encouraged to apply as soon as possible Report this job Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
