The role involves transcribing recorded interviews with high accuracy and attention to detail. This is a remote, flexible opportunity for independent contractors.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br><br><ul><li>Transcribe audio files (typically interviews) into clean, formatted transcripts using a provided template</li><li>Maintain ≥99.9% accuracy and meet strict formatting requirements</li><li>Annotate transcripts with contextual cues (e.g., [inaudible], [witness crying])</li><li>Submit completed work via secure file transfer platform</li><li>Respond to project communications and meet agreed-upon deadlines<br><br><br></li></ul>Requirements:<br><br><ul><li>Must be a U.S. citizen (per federal requirements)</li><li>Prior transcription experience (preferred: legal, medical, or government)</li><li>Familiarity with transcription software and Microsoft Word</li><li>Strong command of English grammar, spelling, and formatting</li><li>Ability to follow confidentiality and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) protocols</li><li>Ability to pass a federal background check or already hold clearance (preferred but not required)<br><br><br></li></ul>Security Notice:<br><br>This role supports a federal agency.
