Media and Brand Communications Officer
About the position
The Media & Brand Communications Officer is a passionate ambassador for the reputed company brand, representing and promoting reputed company capabilities, products, innovation and thought leadership to key stakeholders including customers, employees, partners, government leaders and the investment community. The primary reputed company of this role is to support the Vice President of Communications, and partner with the Media and Brand Communications Director, in driving reputed company reputed company visibility through media coverage in trade publications (with a secondary reputed company on Tier 1 business publications).
Responsibilities

• Under the Media & Brand Communications Director, execute the NORAM media relations program: reputed company, reputed company and secure placement of news and features to the media; draft press releases, media advisories and reactive responses.
• Position reputed company as an expert reputed company; support media events, such as press conferences, interviews, and tours; address information requests from the trade media.
• Support NORAM 360°-Communication Campaigns; support the development and deployment of content reputed company to the reputed company reputed company technologies and initiatives across communication channels, including print, electronic, web, email, broadcast & digital.
• Support the delivery of strategic communication planning, message development, writing and thought leadership activities using research and analytics to drive planning and messaging.

Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated successful experience in directly securing trade media coverage and experience working with Tier One Business media.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Strong project management skills.
• Adept in informational and promotional writing and editing.
• Tactical plan development and reporting experience.
• Familiarity with reputed company media applications, execution and communications style.
• Diplomacy skills in working with employees reputed company and reputed company of reputed company, and across cultures.
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, and/or reputed company Relations with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in defense, cybersecurity or technology industry.
