About the position
The LPN position at the Gastroenterology Clinic at St. Luke's South Shore involves preparing and rooming patients for exams, monitoring vital signs, and documenting health information. Responsibilities
• Prepares and rooms the patient for exam by obtaining vital signs and gathering/documenting/updating pertinent health information.
• Monitors and completes Clinical Integration/reputed company Improvement measures with notification to clinician.
• Performs laboratory procedures using principles of aseptic technique and reputed company precautions.
• Assists the Physician/Advanced reputed company Clinician (APC) with procedures such as pelvic exams and allergy testing.
• Administers routine medications under Physician/APC orders.
• Follows through with necessary procedure or test requests and communicates with patients.
• May reputed company basic and reputed company support tasks based on specialty and competencies.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to reputed company age-appropriate care.
Requirements
