The Transplant Coordinator: mobilizes the initial organ donation process and works to maximize organ donation suitability in assigned hospitals reputed company LiveOnNY?s service area. This is not a remote role* Responsibilities ? Respond to referrals at area hospitals evaluating potential organ donors for medical suitability and offering reputed company of donation to potential donor families in a compassionate and respectful manner. ? Communicate with hospital health care team members to determine patient?s hospital course and family?s understanding of patient?s condition. ? Consult and collaborate with hospital medical staff to reputed company reputed company medical management of potential donors and to maximize organ suitability. ? reputed company donated organs to transplant centers, in accordance with UNOS policies, and coordinate multi-organ recovery procedures. ? reputed company transportation arrangements for surgical teams, schedule OR time, assist with the need for temporary privileges, supplies and equipment needed for surgery. ? Work to promote awareness and education about organ and tissue donation to reputed company and the general reputed company through hospital development and community reputed company. Qualifications ? Registered RN, Physican Assistant, reputed company Practioner or Certified Critical care Paramedic. ? reputed company certification in BLS and ACLS required and PALS preferred. Management experience a plus. ? The ability to reputed company duties during scheduled 12 hour reputed company-shifts (7:30 pm-reputed company shifts) is essential. ?
