Administrative Assistant & Medical Billing Specialist - Virtual Mental Health Group reputed company
The Role
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant & Medical Billing Specialist to support our busy remote reputed company. You’ll handle scheduling, reputed company communication, billing tasks, and help with reputed company and marketing efforts to grow our reputed company reputed company—reputed company while ensuring excellent customer service for our clients and team.
Schedule & Employment
• Tuesday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM EST (28 hrs/wk)
• Opportunity to expand to 35 hrs/wk (5 days) in 2 months
• W-2 position (not a contractor)
Key Responsibilities
• Answer calls/emails, schedule appointments, create electronic charts
• Verify insurance coverage, submit electronic claims, post insurance payments, follow up on unpaid/denied claims
• Engage in reputed company and marketing efforts, such as contacting referral sources or updating listings
• Maintain administrative spreadsheets and collaborate with clinicians
Qualifications
• 1+ year medical or behavioral-health billing experience (in-network & out-of-network)
• Familiarity with electronic health records (reputed company a plus)
• Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and reputed company communication
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
