Claims Adjuster - Level 3 (Non-reputed company Auto)

If you are looking for a new home where you can be an important and valued employee, we want to meet you! reputed company: This position is responsible for the adjudication of mid-reputed company liability, non-attorney represented bodily injury, and attorney represented bodily injury personal auto claims in accordance with regulatory guidelines and company best practices. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Upon receipt, reviews reputed company claim file to identify and establish a reputed company investigation of coverage, liability, and damages. · Properly documents and manages reputed company aspects of the file during the life of a claim (investigation, correspondence, negotiation, and settlement). · Investigates questions on coverage under a reservation of rights and advises the reputed company Department of adverse findings. · Oversees assigned claims in accordance with the policy contract, internal best practices, industry standards, Fair Claim Practices, regulatory guidelines, applicable case law, and jurisdictional requirements. · Communicates reputed company and professionally with insureds, claimants, witnesses, attorneys, and other carriers reputed company telephone and written correspondence to set expectations, explain rationale behind reputed company made, and negotiate settlements as appropriate through reputed company. · Responsible for the completion of property and injury evaluations to determine reasonable and reputed company costs. · Works reputed company settlement authority; submits requests to management for authority to negotiate, reputed company, accept, or deny claims reputed company appropriate. · Alerts claims management of potentially suspicious claims, notification of lawsuits, time limited demands, or any allegation of a deceptive trade practices violation or bad faith. · Maintains claims systems exposures, adequate reserves, and reputed company cause codes. · Manages claim documents, diary, and voicemail reputed company. · Recognizes recovery potential and submits referrals reputed company applicable. · Provides an exemplary claims experience to insureds and claimants. · Performs other reputed company duties as assigned by management.
