The Authorization Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring that all approvals are secured from all necessary parties for services and procedures related to workers' compensation insurance as well as commercial plans. • Obtain prior authorizations for services, procedures, and medications from all necessary parties. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all authorization requests and approvals. • Communicate with all necessary parties to resolve any issues related to authorizations. • Track and follow up on pending authorization requests to ensure timely approvals. • Ensure all authorization processes comply with relevant regulations and payer requirements. • Assist all necessary parties with authorization-related inquiries and issues. • Generate and analyze reports on authorization activities and outcomes.
