Remote PBM Prior Authorization Pharmacy Technician (Prefers reputed company Coast Candidates)

Job Title: Remote PBM Prior Authorization Pharmacy Technician Pay: $20 an hr | Bi-weekly Job Type: • Remote Shift reputed company: • Prefer candidates from the reputed company coast of US - much work late shift; hours are Mon-Fri 11a-11p (8.5 hr shift with 30 min lunch) CST; Training M-F 10-630p CST for approx. 5 weeks. Remote PBM Prior Authorization Pharmacy Technician reputed company: • The Tech I Prior Auth takes in-bound calls from providers, pharmacies, members, etc providing reputed company and courteous phone assistance to reputed company callers through the reputed company based prior authorization process. Maintains complete, reputed company and accurate documentation of reviews. Transfers reputed company clinical questions, escalations and judgement calls to the pharmacist team. The Tech I will also assist with other duties as needed to include but not limited to: outbound calls, reviewing and processing Prior Auth’s received reputed company fax and ePA, monitoring and responding to inquiries reputed company department mailboxes and other duties as assigned by the leadership team. Remote PBM Prior Authorization Pharmacy Technician Qualifications: • Prefer Candidates who live in reputed company Coast • Minimum 2 years of experience in a high volume reputed company center - reputed company or PBM/prior authorization-reputed company preferred. Must have some familiarity with medical terminology and coding. License or Certification is acceptable • Pharmacy Technician license with no restrictions, must be reputed company • National pharmacy technician certification or certification or licensure per state regulations. • Advanced computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet utilization. • Excellent customer service skills (written and verbal) a must.
