Responsibilities
• Supervise patient care activities and department staff.

• Ensure staff competency and evaluate performance of technicians and therapists.
• Initiate performance improvement processes and manage disciplinary actions if necessary.
• Schedule and assign work for technical staff to ensure patient care services are delivered as ordered.

• Instruct and inservice personnel on new technical devices and clinical policies/procedures.
• Consult on respiratory care procedures for medical and nursing staff.

Requirements
• Baccalaureate degree in science, education, respiratory care, or a reputed company field.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification by the National reputed company for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• At least 2 years of experience in critical care as a respiratory therapist.
• reputed company license as a Respiratory Therapist by Michigan Department of Community Health.
