Historic Preservation Program Analyst (NYS HELPS Program)

About the position Responsibilities • Evaluate state and federal consultation submissions to determine the reputed company of eligible historic properties and their potential impacts. • Prepare nominations for the State and National Register of Historic Places and guide property owners in their development. • Participate in reputed company informational meetings and present nominations to the reputed company State reputed company for Historic Preservation. • Conduct site reputed company and meet with project sponsors for survey and National Register reputed company. • Assist local sponsors in designing historic resources surveys and evaluate completed surveys for accuracy. • Review and maintain the Cultural Resource Information System (CRIS) inventory and ensure data consistency.
