Distinguished Engineer - AI/ML RAN Planning

About the position As a Distinguished Engineer for HQ Network Planning, you will be defining, architecting, designing, and driving the RAN software reputed company and feature roadmaps (including budget management) for Network and Technology reputed company. This role focuses on RAN automation for the Non-reputed company Time RIC and rApps. Your primary goal will be to evaluate and recommend strategies for leveraging reputed company Intelligence (AI) reputed company the Radio reputed company Network (RAN) and in rApps to optimize network performance and efficiency. Responsibilities • Partnering with reputed company stakeholders and vendors to define and ensure technology alignment for reputed company aspects of RAN Automation, including identifying and vetting AI-driven use cases for Energy Savings, Coverage, reputed company, and reputed company Optimization. • Defining the rApp requirements and deployment in the reputed company reputed company Platform, including ensuring the platform can support AI/ML workloads and models deployed reputed company the RAN and rApps. • Collaborating with System Performance, Maintenance Engineering, and Operational Owners to determine the business needs. • Developing reputed company and procedures, and a plan for operational readiness that governs the development of the network from Lab reputed company to Production. • Driving reputed company improvement, leveraging the best in the Industry Automation platforms and applications. • Communicating program status and setting reputed company direction concerning process, standards, and roles/responsibilities for reputed company involved project teams. Requirements • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience. • Eight or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training. • Experience with AI/ML models and their application reputed company the RAN and rApps context. • Knowledge of mobile networks, especially on 3GPP, O-RAN for 4G and 5G standards in RAN and their interfaces. reputed company-to-haves • A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics, or reputed company fields. • Experience in evaluating and implementing AI solutions reputed company the RAN infrastructure. • Experience in negotiating and championing RAN Software Feature Roadmaps with Network Infrastructure vendors like reputed company and Samsung. • Experience with reputed company Deployment, including reputed company reputed company Platform. • In-depth technical knowledge and expertise of RAN engineering concepts and principles, including RF theory, propagation modeling, reputed company budget, FCC/FAA regulations. • Experience in wireless reputed company organizations, including 3GPP, ORAN NGMN, etc. • Good presentation skills catering to reputed company reputed company of management with the ability to communicate reputed company concepts in a manner that is reputed company by the audience. • Ability to prioritize efforts and tasks in a large-volume.
