POSITION SUMMARY: We’re looking for a creative, enthusiastic Social Media Content Creator to film and produce short-form video content at our vacation rental properties. This role is perfect for a student or emerging creator who loves capturing beautiful spaces, experimenting with trends, and bringing stories to life through TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. You’ll work directly with the company owner, enjoy full flexibility over your filming schedule, and operate independently while following our brand style. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Capture short-form video and photo content at Blue Ridge Escapes properties • Produce TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts–ready clips • Upload polished videos weekly to shared folders • Follow visual and branding guidelines • Communicate clearly about deliverables and timelines • Contribute creative ideas for content concepts • Maintain consistent quality and attention to detail • Travel to properties in Blacksburg, Christiansburg, Pulaski, Dublin, and Claytor Lake QUALIFICATIONS: • Current student at Virginia Tech or Radford University • Strong familiarity with TikTok/Reels and current content trends • Ability to film high-quality video on a smartphone or camera • Creative eye for angles, transitions, and storytelling • Reliable transportation to and from properties • Dependable, communicative, and comfortable working independently • Able to meet weekly content deadlines with minimal supervision COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: • $18.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience and skill level • Flexible, self-managed schedule (4–10 hours per week) • Telecommuting options for editing and uploads • Access to workplace perks such as recreation activities, food, and coffee • Real-world portfolio pieces showcasing interior, lifestyle, and travel content SCHEDULE: 4–10 Hours/Week • Flexible Schedule Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
