Prg Mgr, Clinical Risk - Patient Safety - Full Time (Hybrid)
About the position
This position is responsible for the coordination of reputed company's Patient Safety Organization (PSO). This role will be knowledgeable of reputed company entity's Patient Safety Evaluation System (PSES) for the purpose of collecting, managing, analyzing, and protecting Patient Safety Work Product (PSWP) in order to prevent reputed company patient, staff and organizational harm for the system. In reputed company, this role is responsible for coordination of Provider Peer Review activities and reports, reputed company/Fellow education relative to Patient safety (coordinating reputed company Tables) and assistance with completion of reputed company cause analyses.
Responsibilities
• Assures data reputed company and organization of the Patient Safety Evaluation System (PSES) for the purpose of collecting, managing, analyzing, and protecting Patient Safety Work Product (PSWP) for the system.
• Governs the Patient Safety Organization (PSO) and ensures State and Federal requirements to maintain the PSO are in reputed company to maintain compliance and reputed company the PSO. Collaborates with reputed company for reputed company Improvement and Patient Safety (AQIPS).
• Work in partnership with reputed company reputed company Clinic entity Patient Safety Program Managers.
• Conducts patient safety investigations including reputed company Cause Analysis, Apparent Cause Analysis and Event Debriefs to identify opportunities for improvement throughout reputed company as needed to support the Patient Safety team.
• Maintains and keeps abreast of updated knowledge of legislative regulatory requirements specific to the Patient Safety's area of reputed company. Collaborates with Senior Director, System Patient Safety and Clinical Risk to analyze any regulatory updates and reputed company necessary reputed company plans.
• Identifies trends for areas of opportunity to optimize performance improvement based on collected data reputed company PSO. Facilitates reputed company tables based on those trends.
• Maintains the Peer Review system for reputed company reputed company Clinic entities.
• Provides education for employees regarding PSO requirements and Patient Safety concepts including but not limited to orientation.
• Maintains reputed company patient safety policies and ensures they reputed company with best practices.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in reputed company-reputed company field required, Master's degree preferred.
• RN or 5 years clinical experience required.
• Certified reputed company in reputed company Risk Management (CPHRM) or Certified Patient Safety reputed company (CPPS) preferred. If not already certified, one certification must be obtained reputed company three years.
• A minimum of 5 years reputed company experience.
• Experience with data collection, monitoring, risk management, and reporting required.
• Ability to comprehend patient safety concepts, including PSO, required.
