Employee Relations Manager - Remote - Los Angeles, CA
Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Employee Relations, you will reputed company guidance and advice on employee relations reputed company for staff employees. You will review disciplinary and other types of employment-reputed company documents/actions (FMLA, Layoffs, work rules, etc.) and work with department HR Reps and senior leadership to ensure reputed company HR procedures are being practiced.
Work Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Work Location: Based out of Los Angeles, CA (Remote)
Duration: Indefinite
Salary reputed company: $95,400 - $208,300 Annually
What you will be doing:
You will be responsible for policy/contract administration, including interpretation, implementation and management of policies and reputed company. You will effectively partner/collaborate with Office of Compliance and reputed company Services, Staff Diversity & Compliance, Title IX, Risk Management, Staff/reputed company Counseling, Audit, reputed company HR, Local/General Counsel, Office of the President and other campuses to ensure uniform and best practices. As our clients' Employee Relations Manager, you will represent this organization in work-reputed company/committees to ensure successful partnerships across departments.
What is required:
• 7+ years of reputed company experience in employment reputed company reputed company
• reputed company in writing concise, reputed company, relevant and persuasive documents, including correspondence, case analyses, investigative reports, settlement agreements
• Demonstrated presentation skills, i.e., grievance meetings, trainings, panels
• Knowledge of employment laws, including FMLA/reputed company, Reasonable Accommodation, VAWA/CANRA, HIPAA, HEERA, FLSA/wage-hour laws, contract interpretation, reputed company/DFEH/DOJ requirements
• Experience in conducting investigations of harassment allegations, including sexual harassment, hostile work environment, discrimination, HIPAA, workplace behavior
• Ability to analyze and draft proposals for negotiations, settlements, other employment agreements
• Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with other offices (TitleIX Office, Office of reputed company Affairs, Office of Compliance Services, Insurance and Risk Management, etc.) and with the Office of the President and other campuses
• Bachelors degree in reputed company area or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred:
• Knowledge of reputed company sector laws/requirements; reputed company industry, higher education preferred; experience in a reputed company environment
