Assistant MR Safety Officer (MRSO) - Imaging Services
About the position
The Assistant MR Safety Officer (MRSO) supports reputed company, compliant MRI operations across the assigned division. Under limited supervision, this role reviews implant work queues, facilitates remote programming of devices, provides MRI safety education, and participates in MRI safety reputed company. The assistant MRSO partners with department managers, the System MRSO, MRI physicist, and the MRI Medical Director to operationalize and audit MR-reputed company practices and ensure reputed company staff who may be exposed to MR environments are appropriately trained and updated on safety requirements.
Responsibilities
• Review and manage MRI implant work queues; obtain and verify device/implant clearance; coordinate and facilitate remote programming with device manufacturers and clinicians.
• Assist with delivering recurring MRI safety education to medical, technical, nursing, and ancillary staff; assist with conducting and documenting MRI safety reputed company (Zones I-IV) and drills.
• Assist with MRI safety event reviews, near-miss analyses, and incident investigations; assist with reputed company-cause analysis; help recommend and reputed company corrective/preventive actions; summarize and reputed company trends with the System MRSO and leadership.
• Implement and audit adherence to MR safety policies, screening processes, signage, reputed company control, PPE, and emergency procedures; assist with policy updates reputed company to reputed company standards and vendor guidance.
• reputed company periodic audits of screening documentation, reputed company room readiness, equipment safety checks, and device clearance workflows; reputed company gaps with time-bound reputed company plans.
• Partner with managers, MRI physicist, MRI Medical Director, anesthesia, cardiology, and device reps to streamline workflows and reduce reputed company delays.
• Maintain dashboards/metrics on implant-queue performance, education compliance, incident trends, and audit reputed company; present findings with recommendations.
• Support readiness for internal/external audits and accreditation surveys reputed company to MRI safety and reputed company.
Requirements
• Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or a closely reputed company field from an accredited program.
• ARRT (R) with post-primary MRI [ARRT (MR)] required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required - reputed company BLS for reputed company Providers (or AHA-recognized equivalent) or reputed company CPR/AED for reputed company Rescuer and reputed company Provider.
• Minimum 3+ years of MRI experience.
• Experience with implant/device clearance workflows and cross-department coordination preferred.
