[Remote] React Native & Python Developer Intern

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Vibes Meet LLC is a social marketplace merging content creation, verified meetups, and direct monetization. They are seeking a React Native & Python Developer Intern to build and scale mobile and backend features that enhance the Vibes Meet experience, collaborating closely with the CTO and other team members. Responsibilities • Build, test, and ship new features in React Native (Expo managed workflow) with TypeScript. • Implement pixel-perfect, accessible UI aligned to the Vibes Meet Poppins typography and color system; collaborate with Design on motion and micro-interactions. • Integrate wallet, payments, and QR-based event flows (scan/verify/entry). • Optimize for performance across iOS/Android (startup time, bundle size, caching/offline). • Integrate push notifications, camera, and geolocation (native modules where needed). • Design and maintain APIs for auth, events, wallet, content feeds, and creator tools (Django REST). • Implement business logic for monetization, referrals, influencer analytics, and payouts using Celery/Redis. • Build WebSocket endpoints for chat, streaming signals, and live meetups. • Integrate third-party services (Stripe, Paystack, Twilio, AWS S3). • Collaborate with DevOps to deploy services to AWS (ECS/ECR, Lambda, S3, CloudFront); containerize with Docker and automate via GitHub Actions. • Implement velocity caps, fraud checks, and payout rules in wallet flows; contribute to risk scoring hooks and device/IP binding. • Build with privacy-by-design and global compliance in mind (GDPR/CCPA/NDPR), and follow app-store UGC requirements (reporting, blocking, appeals). • Support refund and dispute-handling paths in code (escrow/holds, event postponement, chargebacks, digital content waivers). • Hours: Minimum 20 hrs/week with core overlap in EST; daily async check-ins; weekly sprints; on-call for urgent releases when required. • Collaboration: Cross-functional with Design, FraudOps, Growth, and Compliance; uphold company culture and operating norms.
