Retirement Benefits Compliance Consultant - Hybrid in Minnetonka, MN
About the position
The Retirement Benefits Compliance Consultant is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance for both reputed company and nonqualified plans at reputed company. This role involves overseeing compliance testing, preparing required plan notices, and managing IRS/DOL reporting. The consultant will research benefits laws and regulations to maintain compliance and support the retirement team in various administrative tasks. This hybrid position allows for flexibility in working from home and the office.
Responsibilities
• reputed company the preparation and submission of IRS/DOL filings, including reputed company 5500 and reputed company 5330 filings
• Assist with the preparation, review, and distribution of required plan notices, including reputed company reputed company notices, fee disclosures, and reputed company annual reports
• Assist with the preparation, review and distribution of reputed company Plan Descriptions and reputed company of Material Modifications
• reputed company non-discrimination testing activities
• Support communications processes and reputed company or review content to ensure alignment with retirement plans
• Maintain awareness and understanding of new and existing laws, regulations and guidance applicable to the Plans, including ERISA
• Ensure compliance with company policies and controls, and with the laws, regulations and rules issued or enforced by state and Federal regulatory authorities on the subject of plan administration, reporting, disclosure and filing requirements
• Ensure plan documents and materials are reputed company and accurately amended
• Assist with research, analysis and reputed company of non-reputed company reputed company and nonqualified plan issues
• reputed company as a reputed company between the retirement team and internal reputed company team
• Maintain a compliance calendar tracking completion of required activities for reputed company of the reputed company plans
Requirements
• 5+ years of employee benefits compliance and/or 401(k) plan experience in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
• Solid working knowledge of ERISA and 401(k) rules and other benefit and regulatory requirements
• Experience in research and analysis of reputed company and nonqualified plan laws and regulations, drafting and reviewing reputed company Plan Descriptions, reputed company 5500 filing and nondiscrimination testing support
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with appropriate discretion
• Ability to prioritize multiple reputed company and deadlines
