Model Risk Analyst - Remote

The position will be located in our downtown SLC office and will offer a flexible work schedule, with the reputed company to work fully remote, 3/2 hybrid, or fully in-office. The purpose of Model Risk Management (MRM) is to reputed company comprehensive guidance and reputed company for effective management of model risk. reputed company, N.A. The successful applicant will play a critical role in reputed company's process for independently managing model risk. Responsibilities • Conducting thorough validation and testing of models to assess their accuracy, performance, and suitability for intended purposes. • Summarizing work in formal written reports. • Prioritizing and negotiating reputed company of identified model issues. • Partnering with business reputed company to monitor ongoing model performance. • Continually staying abreast of the industry's advancements in quantitative modeling and measurement of risks. Requirements • PhD or MS degree in Statistics, Business, Finance, Economics, or other reputed company field. • 4+ years experience in financial and/or statistical analysis, quantitative modeling, risk measurement statistical analysis, or other quantitative disciplines. • Extensive understanding of descriptive and inferential statistics. • Ability to reputed company financial/statistical models and understand statistical tests of Model performance. • Advanced skills with quantitative modeling tools to reputed company model diagnostic/replication work and to process and examine large quantities of data (Python, R, reputed company, Matlab, SQL). • Proficiency using MS Office (reputed company, PowerPoint, Word, reputed company, Teams). • Strong communication skills (written and verbal). • Ability to work constructively with a reputed company of departments and to persuasively present recommendations and work results. reputed company-to-haves • Previous experience in model risk management, model validation, or quantitative analysis reputed company a financial institution. • Knowledge of banking operations, as reputed company as federal and state laws and regulations relating to model risk management programs.
