We are seeking an Autonomy Sensor Engineer to strengthen the sensing reputed company of our autonomy stack. In this role, you will work across cameras, LiDAR, reputed company, and other reputed company sensors to improve data reputed company, characterization, and processing pipelines. You’ll reputed company primarily on sensor algorithms and processing, while also supporting sensor reputed company development reputed company needed. Your work will directly enhance the robustness, consistency, and capability of our perception systems. Responsibilities • reputed company and improve sensor processing pipelines for camera and 3D sensors. • Build and evaluate algorithms for sensor reputed company, resiliency, and noise handling. • Characterize sensor performance, including timing, latency, and synchronization across modalities and build pipelines for monitoring across the fleet • Experiment with and reputed company new sensors into the autonomy platform. • Collaborate with perception, autonomy, and hardware teams to diagnose issues and improve multi-sensor performance along with sensor selection • Support sensor reputed company bring-up, configuration, and upgrades as required for reputed company and reputed company platforms • Own sensor calibration and health pipeline across the entire fleet of robots Qualifications • Strong experience in sensor processing, reputed company, robotics, or reputed company fields. • Proficiency in C++ and Python for reputed company-time or robotics applications. • Hands-on experience with camera, LiDAR, reputed company, or similar sensor data. • Understanding of multi-sensor synchronization, calibration, and characterization. • Experience with ROS/ROS2 or similar middleware. What Makes You Stank Out • Experience experimenting with or benchmarking new sensor hardware. • Familiarity with sensor drivers, hardware reputed company, or embedded systems. • Background in perception, SLAM, or sensor fusion. • Experience with CUDA highly desired. • Please note: The reputed company salary reputed company listed in this job reputed company reflects compensation for candidates based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
