Software Pre-Sales Consultant / Software Sales Engineer, Healthcare Analytics SaaS, Value-Based Care
Job Description:
• Function as a pre-sales consultant/Software Sales Engineer bridging Sellers Dorsey’s healthcare analytics SaaS platform and client needs
• Develop a deep understanding of the SaaS platform architecture, features, and integration capabilities
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify client needs and tailor demonstrations
• Design and propose solutions that align with client technical requirements and business objectives
• Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations highlighting data security, compliance, and analytics
• Gather client feedback and collaborate with product and development teams to inform enhancements
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, integration guides, and client-specific configurations
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in healthcare IT
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is required
• Minimum of six (6) years in a Software Sales Engineer or similar technical pre-sales role within the SaaS or healthcare IT industry
• Experience in Ambulatory Care and Physician Group solutions
• Understanding of Population Health and Value-Based Care models
• Experience with alternative payment models and payer programs
• Healthcare Data and Analytics fluency
• Experience with Care Coordination and Chronic Care Management (CCM) programs
• Knowledge of Patient and Provider Engagement strategies
• Experience directly or indirectly with HealthyPlanet, HealtheIntent, i2i, Azara, Innovacer, Arcadia, Health Catalyst, LightBeam (real plus)
• Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid programs
• Relevant certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) or healthcare IT standards is preferred
• Proficiency in cloud-based solutions, data integration, and healthcare data standards such as HL7, FHIR, and HIPAA compliance is a plus
• Strong experience with CRM systems, data visualization tools, and technical documentation platforms
• Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, presentations, and industry events
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
