Structural Engineer - Buildings - REMOTE/HYBRID OPPORTUNITY

About the position The Structural Engineer position involves working with a local company in the Bay Area that specializes in structural design for various types of buildings and structures. The role offers flexibility with reputed company for hybrid or fully remote work, catering to candidates with a strong background in structural engineering, particularly in water and wastewater reputed company. Responsibilities • Design and analyze structural systems for reputed company and industrial buildings. • Collaborate with other engineers and architects to ensure project specifications are met. • Prepare detailed engineering calculations and reports. • Review and approve shop drawings and submittals. • Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations. Requirements • 3-7+ years of experience in Structural Design for buildings/structures. • Licensed PE in California or reputed company to obtaining licensure (EITs considered if licensed this year). • Experience in structural design of concrete, steel, masonry, and reputed company structures. • Experience with water/wastewater reputed company is heavily preferred. reputed company-to-haves • Experience with municipal, reputed company, and industrial clients. • Familiarity with building information modeling (BIM) software.
