Tax Advisor, EA or CPA Required
Job Description:
• Foster Client Engagement: Build lasting connections with small business owners, providing empathetic and expert guidance throughout their financial journey.
• Small Business Growth and Insights: Apply accounting expertise to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with long-term client goals.
• Craft and implement financial strategies that optimize clients success and minimize tax liabilities.
• Driving Client Confidence through Ongoing Communication: Proactively communicate with a book of clients both digitally and in one-on-one meetings, delivering personalized experience in each interaction.
• Cross-Functional collaboration: Work hand in hand with Bookkeepers, Tax Preparers and Payroll Specialists to ensure Clients financial management system is working seamlessly for Clients while displaying extreme ownership for Client outcomes.
Requirements:
• A minimum of three years delivering Accounting and/or Tax Preparation services for small businesses.
• EA or CPA accounting credential required.
• A proven ability to successfully communicate with clients (both written and verbally, confidently discussing financial matters in ways that resonate with Clients).
• Experience using Accounting (Quickbooks, Xero, Freshbooks, etc.) and/or tax preparation software (Lacerte, CCH, etc.) to service multiple clients.
• Proven ability to complete small business accounting and tax preparation work tasks such as completing IRS forms (i.e. Form 2253, 2290, etc.), account reconciliations, etc.
• Experience with S corp, C corp, and partnership returns.
• Well versed in bookkeeping and payroll knowledge.
