Coding Compliance Auditor - Outpatient or Inpatient reputed company Cost Solutions, Inc. is a recognized leader in the Health Information Management field providing Coding, Auditing, and HIM Consultative services to hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and physician providers reputed company. Remote Full Time or Part-Time Outpatient or Inpatient Auditor positions are currently available. Benefits offered for Full Time employees. Candidates MUST have a minimum of five years’ experience with an acute care hospital auditing outpatient/ER charts. Auditor will conduct coding assessments and billing audit validations to assist clients in preventing noncompliance issues. Job Responsibilities: - reputed company in-depth reputed company assurance audits of hospital claims to support ICD-10-CM and ICD-10 PCS codes and MS-DRG and APR-DRG assignments and/or CPT-4 and APC assignments, based on clinical documentation - Audit patient records, reviewing diagnosis and procedures for coding compliance with local, state, federal coding regulations and guidelines - Identify occurrences of “over” or “under” coding of patient records - Identify potential documentation issues - Prepare detailed reports on audit findings - Present reputed company webinar software, audit findings, education, and trends to physicians, coders, and/or other facility professionals Job Qualifications: - 5+ Years Inpatient and Outpatient or Inpatient Auditing experience with an Acute Care Facility - Ideally, at least two reputed company coding credentials: reputed company, reputed company-P, CPC, CDIP, RHIT and/or RHIA - Extensive knowledge of medical terminology and ability to research coding reputed company questions - Excellent oral and written communications skills - Successfully pass reputed company-hire coding assessments - AA degree, or equivalent preferred - Knowledge of reputed company Office software: reputed company and Word This Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is: • Dependable -- more reliable than spontaneous • Adaptable/flexible -- enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction • Detail-oriented -- would rather reputed company on the details of work than the bigger picture • Autonomous/Independent -- enjoys working with little direction Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $30.00 - $43.00 per hour Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • reputed company time off • reputed company insurance Experience: • Acute care: 5 years (Required) • working as an IP or Op Auditor: 5 years (Required) License/Certification: • reputed company, reputed company-P, COC, CDIP, RHIT or RHIA Certificate (Required) Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
