Partnerships and Community Manager
Job Description:
• Define and continuously refine the strategy for Partnerships and Community, with a focus on innovation, value creation, and ecosystem relevance.
• Empower and guide the leads of partnerships, sponsorships, and events teams, ensuring they have the clarity, tools, and support to succeed.
• Actively represent Lazo in the U.S. ecosystem—attending high-impact events and forging connections with founders, VCs, accelerators, and platforms.
• Ensure operational excellence across the area by promoting a mindset of structure, consistency, and accountability within the team.
• Oversee team alignment with KPIs—tracking both collective outcomes and individual performance across initiatives.
• Promote clear processes for data tracking, partner management, event follow-ups, and ecosystem feedback loops.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Legal, and Sales to maximize the impact of external relationships.
• Create scalable frameworks to grow the company’s presence and influence across the ecosystem.
• Drive a culture of acceleration, ownership, and impact within the Partnerships & Community function.
Requirements:
• Deep understanding of the U.S. startup and venture ecosystem.
• Experience in building and leading strategic partnerships and community initiatives.
• Proven leadership of cross-functional and high-performing teams.
• Familiarity with CRM and data tools (e.g., HubSpot, Airtable, Notion).
• Strategic thinking with a strong bias toward innovation and long-term value.
• Motivation and mindset aligned with AI-driven growth and technology adoption.
• Excellent communication and relational intelligence in both English and Spanish.
• Ability to empower, motivate, and accelerate teams with clarity and purpose.
• High ecosystem empathy: understands what adds real value to startups and partners.
• Executive presence and ability to act as a trusted voice for Lazo externally.
• Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
