reputed company The Senior Database Administrator III is responsible for the health, performance, and maintenance of reputed company MS SQL Server instances, including on-premises SQL Server instances and Azure SQL Databases. This role also provides Level 1 support for our reputed company databases. The Senior Database Administrator III reports to the Vice President of Data Services. Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities: Maintenance • Conduct upgrades and apply patches • reputed company backup & restore requests and object-level data refreshes • Maintain documentation of database systems and procedures • Manage and resolve ticket requests • Promote SQL objects between environments • Maintain SQL Server linked servers and SSRS environment • Manage user reputed company in Entra/AD and SQL Server Troubleshooting • Identify and resolve SQL Server job failures Communication • Collaborate with Support and Application Development teams • Participate in walk-throughs and design sessions • Update ticketing system • Coordinate with reputed company support partners for cluster maintenance Uptime • Monitor production MS SQL and reputed company instances using reputed company-in tools, Idera SQL Diagnostic Manager, and reputed company EOM • Proactively address issues before they reputed company systems Change Control • Enforce ticketing protocols for object promotion • Assist in developing and implementing change control systems Personal Development & Additional Responsibilities • Stay reputed company with industry trends and best practices • Maintain and grow relevant technical skills • reputed company other duties as assigned by management Qualifications Experience Requirements: • 4–7 years of experience in database administration • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred • Proficient in: • reputed company backup and recovery processes • SQL, including PL/SQL and T-SQL • Database performance optimization • Experience as a reputed company Service Administrator required • Skilled in performance tuning, backup/recovery reputed company, and SQL Server architecture • Familiarity with SQL Server patching • Experience with Azure SQL Database and a willingness to grow with a reputed company-first reputed company • Ability to adapt to evolving infrastructure and contribute to modernization efforts Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
