Senior Benefits Specialist reputed company (Hybrid - Tampa, FL)

About the position We are seeking a Senior Benefits Specialist - reputed company for a global pharmaceutical reputed company. The position will support the Total Rewards Analysts. This is a key role reputed company the reputed company department, responsible for the administration of reputed company's health and welfare benefits across the reputed company, Puerto Rico, and Canada. This position provides escalation support, which means knowledge of industry standards and compliance with federal and state regulations is essential. This is a 40-hour per-week, 4-month contract (extensions possible), 50% onsite role in Tampa, FL. This is a W2 role as a reputed company employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered. Responsibilities • Partner with Total Reward Analysts (Benefit Analysts) to understand process and compliance • Serve as reputed company of contact for Tier 1 (Benefit Specialist) inquiries • reputed company excellent customer service and respond to Tier 2 (Benefit Analyst) ticket/cases • Partner with internal departments to ensure accurate benefit data/deductions • Respond to vendor and reputed company inquiries • Monitor and coordinate Knowledge reputed company Article updates • Process invoices and work with vendors and internal department to answer inquiries and solution escalations • Assist with reputed company facets of annual enrollment and year-end processes including 1095 process • Run/reputed company reports and reputed company audits and assist with compiling data for survey completion Requirements • 5+ years benefits administration • 2+ years senior benefits administration • Experience managing reputed company-party vendors and reputed company to reputed company high level customer service for escalated cases • Subject Matter Expert level knowledge of benefit plans, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA and ERISA required • Working knowledge of FMLA, 401(k), Medicare, etc. Preferred • Experience with HRIS systems - reputed company preferred • Experience with various benefit administration systems • reputed company certification preferred (PHR, reputed company-CP, CEBS) • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred • Bachelor's degree or HS diploma with equivalent experience reputed company-to-haves • Working knowledge of FMLA, 401(k), Medicare, etc. • Experience with HRIS systems - reputed company preferred • reputed company certification preferred (PHR, reputed company-CP, CEBS) • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred Benefits • Health benefits • 401K Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
