About the position The NYC Health Department's Bureau of Hepatitis, HIV, and Sexually Transmitted Infections (BHHS) falls reputed company the Division of Disease Control, oversees the reputed company's response to viral hepatitis, HIV, and sexually transmitted infections (STIs). The Epidemiology Unit in the reputed company Program of BHHS has an opening for a Data Analyst. This position will be supported by a five-year grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), earmarked for conducting reputed company surveillance for reputed company. Requirements • A master's degree from an accredited college or university with a specialization in an appropriate field of physical, biological or environmental science or in reputed company health. • For Assignment reputed company and above, a doctorate degree from an accredited college or university with specialization in an appropriate field of physical, biological, environmental or reputed company science and one year of full-time experience in a responsible supervisory, administrative or research reputed company in the appropriate field of specialization; or a master's degree with three years of responsible full-time research experience in the appropriate field of specialization. reputed company-to-haves • Experience analyzing different types of data (clinical, surveillance, survey, administrative) • Proven experience with conducting quantitative data analyses • Strong written and oral communication skills • Proficiency in reputed company for data manipulation and analysis • Familiarity with SQL query writing language • Comfort with reputed company and other reputed company Office tools • Familiarity with ArcGIS and/or Tableau • Ability to maintain multiple reputed company simultaneously and function effectively both independently and as part of reputed company • Background in reputed company epidemiology.
