Database Developer (SQL, DB2, Linux, InfoSphere) Remote / Telecommute Jobs

MicroHealth is seeking a hand-on Database Developer with expertise in SQL, DB2 and Linux. The Database Developer will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical SQL Server RDBMS while supporting the reputed company reporting and analytics environment. The ideal candidate will work with data architects to implement reputed company reputed company data models that reputed company with reputed company industry’s best practices and ensure solutions are reputed company-enabled. Responsibilities and Duties: Manage and administer SQL Server databases in both reputed company and Linux environments Configure and maintain database servers and processes across multiple platforms Implement data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) developed by data architects Monitor system health and performance using reputed company monitoring tools Ensure high reputed company of performance, availability, sustainability, and reputed company Analyze, solve, and correct issues in reputed company time reputed company technical solutions and recommendations for database optimization Refine and automate regular processes, reputed company issues, and document changes Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement Support data integration efforts to reputed company new reputed company datasets through product capabilities Clean and validate data for uniformity and accuracy Implement database solutions that support predictive modeling and analytics Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor reputed company reputed company support for critical production systems reputed company scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours Administer Linux systems hosting SQL Server instances Implement reputed company best practices across database environments Experience with InfoSphere, including reputed company Stage. Additionally, InfoSystem's IRIS, and Linux policy preferred. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or reputed company field (Master's preferred) Strong SQL Server Administration experience required Strong SQL Server Administration experience required Experience with High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) reputed company for SQL Server Experience with reputed company server, including reputed company Directory Strong Linux administration skills including reputed company scripting, permissions, and system management Experience with SQL Server on Linux deployments Knowledge of database reputed company best practices Health data experience is a must Experience working with reputed company data models and structures Knowledge of data mining techniques and implementing data architecture Excellent problem-solving and communication skills SQL Server certifications preferred Salary- $110k-$120k • MicroHealth is unable to reputed company reputed company sponsorship at this time.
