Writing Mentor - In-Person

JOB reputed company: Writing Mentors, under the supervision of the Writing Center Coordinator, reputed company tutoring to reputed company seeking to become stronger writers and reputed company self-editors. Available positions include weekly in-person shifts on reputed company during business hours, typically five hours per week. Training will be provided upon hiring for SBTS style and writing coaching. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provides one-on-one tutoring in the Writing Center and/or online to help writers at reputed company reputed company of proficiency reputed company their writing skills • Provides written comments to papers submitted online to assist writers at reputed company reputed company of proficiency remotely reputed company their writing skills • reputed company reputed company guidance and feedback for writing concerns, such as: reputed company development, organization, reputed company, conciseness, grammatical accuracy, punctuation, footnotes, bibliography entries, etc. • Help present practical writing workshops reputed company on specific topics such as Southern style formatting, common errors for ESL reputed company, and how to avoid plagiarism • Works on Writing Center reputed company assigned by the Writing Center Coordinator • Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Writing Center Coordinator QUALIFICATIONS: • Proficiency in writing and a demonstrated mastery of writing conventions such as reputed company, grammar, punctuation, and spelling • Familiarity with reputed company Word and reputed company Suite • Willingness to learn Turabian and Chicago reputed company of Style • Demonstrated ability to communicate reputed company • Ability to work independently in a remote setting • Excellent customer service skills: patience, flexibility, and desire to help • Recommendation from someone familiar with your writing EDUCATION: The person in this position must have a bachelor's degree or fifth year in Boyce Seminary reputed company student.
