Communications Specialist Lead

As a lead communications specialist, you'll serve as the primary communications partner for the HR Solutions team. You'll drive impactful messaging that aligns with organizational priorities and corporate initiatives. In this role, you'll be an expert in communications while developing and implementing comprehensive plans that engage targeted audiences and reinforcing key business objectives. Additionally, you'll provide organizational change support to help employees understand and adopt new organizational processes, assists with crisis communications to deliver timely and accurate messaging during urgent situations. You'll also manage collaborator relationships by collaborating with business partners and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and clarity. This is a hybrid-remote position with occasional travel to the Corporate Headquarters in Mayfield Heights, OH, roughly two to four times per month. Must-have qualifications • A minimum of nine years of professional experience in Communications or related field (i.e. Journalism, Advertising, Marketing, Promotions, Customer Service, and/or Public Relations) • {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher in Communications or related field (i.e. English Literature, Journalism, Media Studies or Communication Sciences) and a minimum of six years professional experience in Communications or related field (i.e. Journalism, Advertising, Marketing, Promotions, Customer Service, and/or Public Relations) Preferred skills • Experienced writer in a large corporate setting, with writing samples that demonstrate clarity, strategic alignment, and the ability to deliver actionable messaging across multiple channels • Expertise in corporate communications planning, including developing and delivering targeted communication strategies for a complex organizational structure • Experience with creative copywriting that adheres to an established employee brand and voice and inspires audiences across various communication channels Compensation • $87,200 - $116,300/year • Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance Benefits • 401(k) with dollar-for-dollar company match up to 6% • Medical, dental & vision, including free preventative care • Wellness & mental health programs • Health care flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, & life insurance • Paid time off, including volunteer time off • Paid & unpaid sick leave where applicable, as well as short & long-term disability • Parental & family leave; military leave & pay • Diverse, inclusive & welcoming culture with Employee Resource Groups • Career development & tuition assistance • Onsite gym & healthcare at large locations Energage recognizes Progressive as a 2025 Top Workplace for: Innovation, Purposes & Values, Work-Life Flexibility, Compensation & Benefits, and Leadership.
